Conscripts are the backbone of the Capran war effort. Two decades ago, when Allesio Kaldor seized Primarchship of the reborn Hethrell empire, Lucina feared that it was only a matter of time until the Hethrell invaded Caprinaria to reclaim their homeland. To ensure her people could protect themselves, she enacted the Citizen Soldier program.
For one month each year all Caprans from the age of 8 years old working in non-vital industries are required to undergo military training under a Highbreed’s guidance. Conscripts usually operate in large herds that are condensed into smaller eight-Capran units. Their weapon of choice is the Hoofgun, a steam-powered wrist-mounted firearm that can be fired using their innate telekinesis.
